Waldkirch is a municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of St. Gallen in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Waldkirch has an area, as of 2006, of 31.3 km2 (12.1 sq mi). Of this area, 63.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 29% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 6.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.5%) is non-productive (rivers or lakes).
