The Journal of Visualized Experiments (styled JoVE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes experimental methods in video format. The journal is based in Cambridge, MA and was established in December 2006. Moshe Pritsker is the CEO and co-founder. JoVE is abstracted and indexed in Index Medicus, MEDLINE/PubMed, BIOSIS Previews, and Science Citation Index Expanded. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal had a 2020 impact factor of 1.4. JoVE covers research methods and experimental techniques from both the physical and life sciences.
