Goucher College (/ˈɡaʊtʃər/ (listen) GOW-chər) is a private liberal arts college in Towson, Maryland. It was chartered in 1885 by a conference in Baltimore led by namesake John F. Goucher and local leaders of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Goucher was a women's college until becoming coeducational in 1986. As of 2020, Goucher had 1,480 undergraduates studying 33 majors and six interdisciplinary fields and 700 graduate students.
